Wow... it's busy. So busy. Little did I realize that coming back from March break would throw me head first into a bunch of quizes and practicals all the way until finals. Ugh. Just finished an endodontic (root canal) practical that I have no idea how I did. I thought I knew what I was doing but hey... there's always time to learn no?

Yay... Priscilla is cutting her hair for cancer. 12 inches! Crazy.. she's never had her hair short ever since she was little... let's see how nice her hair turns out. Speaking of which, my horrid 60 minute long 19 dollar haircut in Kingston's Signature's will be responsible for Priscilla's turnout. Gosh... my fingers are crossed.

Things seem to be changing, once again. I discovered something really disturbing yesterday that brought a lot of concern to the future of Christian dentists. Recently, I've been involved with CMDS, the Christian Medical Dental Society, of which there are very few dentists involved. Something else was brought to my attention, that very few dentists get together to encourage, learn, or grow deeper in their faith and practices. I always thought there would be a handful of dentists that would be encouraging and building up one another, but apparently that is very rare. My hope and prayer for the future is hopefully this generation would step up and see the importance of the rest of the body of believers and not be engaged only in their practice individually, where we all know that sin abounds in secret and isolation.

Hmmmm... this brings up more concern, as the CMDS of Western is searching for good, passionate dentists who would be willing to mentor and rise up the dental students. But hey, nothing is impossible in Christ!

Alas! The March break that we've been yearning for ever since January how now come to a close. I am both winded and refreshed all at the same time.

Moving
Yes... I have finally moved out of 702-251 Platt's Lane and now and currently residing in Beaver Hall! The decision to do so was to accomodate my heavy exam schedule that will commence towards the end of April, and would potentially disrupt my studies if I were to move all my junk over at that time. Plus, there are SO MANY DAMAGES to repair. Rob and I should have NEVER played darts against our cement wall. Now we have to pay... Reflecting on Platt's, I come to the conclusion that : God blessed that apartment and took our prayer seriously when we moved in. I remember when Rob and I said a quick prayer that our apartment would be an apartment of blessing four years ago, and He answered abundantly.

A brief report on Platt's Lane.
Room: 702
Space: 1200 cub ft
Previous Tenants: Calvin Leung, Derek Leung, Jon Tong, Brian Kung, Robert Tsai and our chinchillas - Dong Gu, Cha Siu, Wu Joo, and Dim Sum.

Rooms: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, livingroom, diningroom
Venue for: Post ACF gatherings, exec meetings, North Carolina mission trip '01 summer training, Yonge Street Mission '01 summer training, Men's Cell giant LAN party, Brian and Simon's surprise party, Saturday morning prayer meetings, worship practices, informal worship sessions
Damage Report: - cracks from hammering in screws, a "dart board" wall, fridge door shelf, "stains" on carpet, tons of tape on picture walls, our infamous signature wall that we need to now paint over... yeesh.
Memories: - Men's Cell whipping potatoes over the 7th floor balcony, Rob hitting a car in motion with an apple over the 7th floor balcony, Discus puck shooting with an E-Fun noodle puck, Stepping in a toilet, Rogue Spear/Rainbow 6 - 3

Ah it was a good 4 years of solid good fun... now 2 more years await with my new roomie, Mark Leung (that's 3 Leungs I would have lived with), a 2nd year Med student. Beaver is AWESOME. It's literally 9 minutes from Dental Science, it's really nice and cozy, and there's an Indian guy who lives across the hall who always has Curry cooking on his stove. I can smell it from my room. YUMMMMM. Maybe I'll get him to teach me this summer.

Kingston
I miss my hunny. I really really miss her. It sucks so much that she's 600 kilometres away from me. Poo.

LCAC youth (Hype)
It's incredible what God can do with what you offer Him. 3 years ago I was was encouraged to see a youth group pop up in LCAC, though how trying and how hard it was back then to get the attention of these silling youngsters to take God seriously. Now, by God's hand and God's hand alone, I bear witness to what the Holy Spirit can do with a bunch of teens and take them into deeper understanding of His will for them! Praise God! Despite my inabilities to be committed and to continue in the ministry, God still continues to persevere and be faithful to prayer. Yay! And one of them is getting Baptized!!! Yay Steph!

Oh today is both a sad and joyous day! Goodness, I can see the empty place in my room where Dong Gu once ran around. Now she's with a good good home. I pulled a leg by posting a classified ad in one of the forums on www.redflagdeals.com, and well thankfully a wonderful couple drove all the way from Markham to London to pick her up!

Thankfully a Chinese gal picked up Dong Gu, otherwise they wouldn't have known what on earth her name means. That's Natasha and her Fiance... they're getting married next year! Dong Gu will be very well taken care of!

There's Dong Gu, really anxious to get going to another place! Gonna miss her like a ton of bricks.

After swaying from a decision to take apart the cage (cuz the thing's got no chance of fitting in the door!), we decided to strap the thing on for a 2 hour ride back to the T dot. Dollar stores have EVERYTHING. That cushion came so in handy... I was gonna throw it out but I guess it had a purpose.

This brings back so many memories... I remember writing about Dong Gu near the time I first got her... you can find my blog on it on Feburary the 13th, 2002, by clicking here.

This weekend marked my second Skit night, full of embarassing skits aimed at the professors. It's been such an exhausting semester, and since our incredible trip to Montreal, this formal wasn't quite anticipated as last year (limo, childish joy), but it still remained to be a memorable night shared with many of my other collegues in other years.

The beautiful and stunning Audrey Hepburn (aka Nyja).

This is Dr.Amournsang, my hero and my idol. Hahahaha... not only is he a Prosthodontics professor and specialist, he's also quite the stud with the ladies. Star-studded.

This is what happens when George leaves the table. Rachel sports the look.

The boyz and Dr.A. He's been practicing these gestures for over a month now.
