More pictures from the summer...

This is Anthony, a fellow classmate who fell asleep after the intoxicating effect of girlguide cookies.

This is Bagel, Ming Yee's poor cat who she doesn't know how to take care of. He's sitting on my lap during a wonderful trip together back to Toronto.

Ellen, Genevieve and Laurie.

Yummy Ellen. She's a really good cook. This is scallops, mussels and a special rice that I can't remember how to describe.

Wow. Weddings are really fun. I've never been to a Portugese Wedding before, but this one was unlike any other. Veronica is a Chinese girl raised in Portugal, so at her wedding there was this hint (or dash) of european presence that made Oriental weddings seem like a snore in comparison. What a fun weekend!

The newly weds Albert and Veronica. Wow... they have awesome dancing skills... and they're really cute together.

My sister Serena got to be a "groomsmaid".

I wasn't kidding about fun Portugese weddings... and all her relatives could party! There was so much food and dancing... Jensen's having too much fun with his buns.

The night couldn't be complete without capturing the beautiful Miss Priscilla Yeung on film.

Dangerous duo....

Yes... we were having THAT much fun.

Wow! The camping trip was a SUCCESS! Well, other than being fined $260, a warning for being too loud, having crazy violent racoons eat our food and terrorize our garbage bags, we had a real blast!

There's just something about going outdoors with others and being stuck in a tent that you attempt at all costs to keep pest-free. Once that tent is pest free, you feel so sheltered from the outdoors even though you went up there to be in it in the first place. S'mores, pancakes in the mornin, ghost stories at night, (trips to the Beach and ice cream???) Taboo... wow... thanks for all the memories guys!

Sameera and Baharrah arrive at the campsite and put up their 6 woman tent. The temperatures on the first night dropped to 8 degrees so we were FREEZING! That was fine, cuz it warded off the misquitos.

There's enough Niccolucis for everyone! Man, hearing these guys yell back comments like "IDIOT!" and "MORON!", I realize it's sometimes nice not having a twin.

This ain't no ordinary camping food... that's what happens when health nuts are included.

Beach??? Yeah... Grand Bend was only 15 minutes away! About 10 of us fit in Sarkany's SUV and drove down to the beach for some rays, beach volleyball and smoothies. Yummy.

A sunny lit dinner at a local restaurant in Grand Bend. Everyone looks so stylin! Back row: Zhemeng, Jesh, Genevieve, Priscilla. Front row: Krista, Derek, Me.

What better way to top off a camping trip than some beef at the Keg? Thank God the rain held out till tonight.

There's more pictures in the Picture Gallery.

Jensen and Vivian's Wedding

So Pris and I went around after the ceremony, cruisin the city...

Connie and Gerrome... Connie looks like a Hobbit here.

Richard and his search for a sweet young 16 year old

Jensen and Vivian having their first dance as a married couple...

Congrats!!!

It's been really weird coming back to Toronto so often. Typically during the year I have been only coming back on major holidays, but this summer thus far I have been back every weekend. Something both interesting and unfamiliar happened this weekend as I decided to step up to going to the Career group fellowship at NTCBC.

"Hello... my name is Jesse."

"Hi, so what church do you go to?"

"Um... I've been going to this church my whole life..."

I probably had the same conversation with about 10 people like that in the night, recognized only 25% of the people there and realized that I have been really far away from home for a long long time. 5 years can do a lot. Nonetheless, it was a very unfamiliar but almost pleasant feeling to go to a "new" church.

Time in London now is quite... well... whatever you make of it. Work isn't too challenging, some days I only hold a gauze for an hour, other days I'm rushing around the clinic trying to find all the stuff the dentist needs... other days I feel as if I'm going to topple over. Tennis, photography, and teaching Ellen how to play violin are just some of the things that take up the time I have after work. Then... before I know it, the weekend is here and I'm back in Toronto running around the city trying to balance my time between family, church, friends and Priscilla.

I'm also realizing that I'm broke. I spent so much on camping supplies and it's as if the camping trips are falling through. That's okay... this weekend will be interesting as 18 of my classmates will be heading up to Grand Bend for some soft-core camping. Wow... I've never planned such an event and gosh, it's quite hectic! Oh yeah... can't forget to bring a first aid kit.

This weekend was really cool, getting a chance to see Euming once again. Such a weird coincidence that her roommate, Queena, met Priscilla shortly after Urbana to talk Occupational Therapy and Missions (oh yeah... and another weird coincidence, at fellowship on Friday I met 2 other OTs as well). Finally got a chance to converse with her ever so devoted boyfriend, Andy. Thanks Euming for my first ever afternoon tea experience. It was quite pleasant, and I don't think I've ever made fun of you so much before, with so much help from others too. Hahaha.

This is a shot at our chocolate fondu party at Doreen's. Mmmmmmmmmm can't get enough chocolate.

Yes... that's reaching past my first joint.

Tonight WAS SO MUCH FUN! We accomplished SO much today. Lessee... after work I got a chance to play tennis. I've made a new friend. His name is wall. He's always there to play with me every day. Even if it's dark, even if it's raining. He always returns my serves and occassionally but not often does he miss my high shots. He's a faithful friend. Sometimes you can lean on him. Other times, you turn around and he's always in front of you, or he's just a few steps away. He has been teaching me good tennis and for the last 3 days he has been there through it all. I love you wall.

We finally went for Chinese food, like Dr.A requested towards the end of the school term. This awesome restaurant named "Golden Dragon" was the first restaurant I went to, (I can still remember as if it were yesterday) during the first week I was here at Western. Last time it was for Victor's birthday, this time it was with a table of 9 dentists (and a dentist's buddy) eagerly exhausted but hungry, waiting to devour many fishes.

If that wasn't enough, Shrek 2 was still on the agenda. IF you haven't seen Shrek 2, WATCH IT. It's so good I saw it 2 times in 5 days. Now that's a good movie.

Not only did I also get to put out virtual fires and douse out burning people, I also got to dance with my fellow coordinated classmates in an hour long workout of Dance Dance Revolution (2nd remix!)... boy am I exhausted! Summer is great.
