NEW YORK CITY!!! I just got back from a week vacation to NYC. It was awesome. The sights, the sounds, the SMELLS- SENSORY OVERLOAD! Here I am on Broadway, close to all the plays and theatres. It was an awesome trip. Read on.

This was us trying to get last minute tickets to Letterman. We were trying OVER AND OVER again in the morning, calling over and over again on this wonderful payphone. After 50 calls and bruised fingers from pulling out quarters, we finally got a standing line spot. Turns out we were just 3 spots away from getting in. Oh well... was quite the NY experience.

This is Kay (Priscilla's cousin). She was wonderful enough to speed us over to the lottery line of "Spelling Bee" - a musical. There were over 100 people there and they drew 10 cards. Guess what? We were the 9th one to be drawed! AWESOME! It was a great musical... so funny... we were in the first row.

This is a shot of the american version of "The Bat". We never got a chance to ride it.. it's called Batman and Robin. It's MUCH HIGHER than the bat.

This was SUPERMAN, the ride that we got on first, but in fact made me so nautious... you like on your front, and it goes crazy. Just look at the construction... so curvy and smooth. Wow.

So this is what rollercoasters are like in the states. Absolutely insane. You see all those curves in the background? Well that's all part of the same ride. This ride was the craziest one of all, it was called NITRO, our last ride of the day (and well worth it!) - there were about 4 drops in total, each one extremely high (like 40 stories or something)- and best of all, they barely strapped you in. Awesome.

Finally... A Summer
Realizing a few things recently. I realize that the decisions that I make now will affect the future in larger ways that before. Decisions such as: spending time with friends, in solitude, spending money, family priorities, etc, have a much bigger influence than ever before. And I'm also realizing another thing: "I don't have to be afraid of them anymore."
This summer is turning out to be a summer of relaxation and refocusing. Though India fell through the cracks, God has been good and faithful as always. He's been giving me oppourtunity upon oppourtunity to recover from broken friendships, exhaustion, and many other things that took the dive this past school year. He's given me a solid group of brothers and sisters to meet with weekly, solid time with close friends, solid quality time with Priscilla, and solid time with family. I couldn't ask for more.
Today in July the 5th, one day right after the 4th. It's Priscilla and my 3rd year anniversary. I must say that love comes with testing, perseverance, and dilligence. I'm loving this girl more and more each day, and the Lord is truly guiding us through each step of the way. Trusting the Lord never felt any better.
I've also found out that my uncle's first stage of cancer treatment is good, so his surgery will take place this Friday. Please keep him in your prayers.
What this abundance of time has been able to let me do is go and visit my cousin and Xavier in Ottawa. Pictures to come... for all his fans out there.
